Harvest Global was founded by cousins Elliot and Benjamin James, inspired by their families’ firsthand experience in building and running Axis Medical Center in Minnesota. Over a decade, they watched providers and clinic owners face endless headaches — not from caring for patients, but from navigating the complex and often broken billing and coding process. Determined to change this reality, they set out in 2020 to create a revenue cycle management company that would be local, hands-on, and deeply invested in the success of providers, staff, and patients alike.

The Background of Harvest RCM
Harvest RCM was founded locally in Minnesota in 2020 by cousins Benjamin and Elliot James after seeing firsthand how billing and coding inefficiencies drained time, focus, and profitability from healthcare providers. What began as frustration with a broken system quickly became a mission to create a more hands-on, supportive revenue cycle management partner for clinics and hospitals.
Built on real-world provider experience, Harvest RCM operates with a fully hands-on model that includes onsite coders, trainers, and full data analysis. Our innovative closed-loop system combines 100% claim review, real-time error correction, data-driven insights, and onsite training.
